Committee resource toolsThe Accessibility Advisory Committee has developed a number of tools to assist the community with meeting the needs of persons with disabilities. If your registration is approved, you will receive a card giving you a registration number, and the phone numbers you need to call to book your trips. Your registration number will be required each time you book a trip.
The Ministry of Community and Social Services website provides excellent information on how a workplace can be made accessible to everyone. Many of the steps that make your business premises more accessible involve minimum effort and expense. Considerations include entrance to the building, reception and meeting areas, elevators and stairs, washrooms, signs and communication material, and workspace areas and equipment.
